13L: 13L is a leadership collective of committed mid-career federal employees with a strong interest in issues related to leadership in the federal government. The mission of 13L is to promote effective leadership in the federal government by advancing discussion and sharing practical information across agencies, undertaking group-sponsored projects and initiatives, and supporting the professional growth and career development of fellow members.

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants: The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is the world's largest association representing the accounting profession. AICPA members represent many areas of practice, including business and industry, public practice, government, education and consulting; membership is also available to accounting students and CPA candidates. The AICPA sets ethical standards for the profession and U.S. auditing standards for audits of private companies, non-profit organizations, federal, state and local governments. It develops and grades the Uniform CPA Examination.

American Public Works Association: The American Public Works Association is an international educational and professional association of public agencies, private sector companies, and individuals dedicated to providing high quality public works goods and services. Originally chartered in 1937, APWA is the largest and oldest organization of its kind in the world, with headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, an office in Washington, D.C., and 67 chapters throughout North America. APWA provides a forum in which public works professionals can exchange ideas, improve professional competency, increase the performance of their agencies and companies, and bring important public works-related topics to public attention in local, state and federal arenas.

Federal Executive Institute Alumni Association: The FEIAA is the exclusive network of graduates of residential programs of the Federal Executive Institute (FEI) in Charlottesville, Virginia, the federal government's premier executive development center. Government Finance Officers Association: GFOA is the professional association of state, provincial and local finance officers in the United States and Canada, and has served the public finance profession since 1906. Approximately 16,500 GFOA members are dedicated to the sound management of government financial resources. International City/County Management Association: ICMA is the professional and educational organization for chief appointed managers, administrators, and assistants in cities, towns, counties, and regional entities throughout the world. Since 1914, ICMA has provided technical and management assistance, training, and information resources to its members and the local government community. The management decisions made by ICMA's nearly 8,000 members affect more than 100 million individuals in thousands of communities--from small towns with populations of a few hundred to metropolitan areas serving several million.

Maryland Association of Counties: The Maryland Association of Counties is a direct descendant of the State Association of County Commissioners of Maryland, formed in 1951. Prior to then, there were only informal gatherings of the Maryland county officials, and at one time, there were two separate associations of county officials from the Eastern and Western shores of the Chesapeake Bay. The history of these two groups date back to 1939. In 1969, Baltimore City became a member, making the Association representative of the 24 political subdivisions of the State.

Maryland Municipal League: A voluntary, nonprofit, nonpartisan association controlled and maintained by city and town governments, MML works to strengthen the role and capacity of municipal government through research, legislation, technical assistance, training and the dissemination of information for its members. Through its membership in the National League of Cities MML offers legislative representation in Washington, urban research programs, and a national municipal government information exchange.

National Association of Black Telecommunications Professionals: NABTP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1990 with a national and international membership of telecommunications professionals, small business owners, and students. As envisioned by our founders and their principal advisors, the late Mickey Leland (D-Texas) and his chief of staff Patrice Johnson, our mission is "to be the premier source of education and information regarding the telecommunications industry for our members, interfacing organizations, and the public, with a specific emphasis on the African-American community."

West Virginia Association of Counties: The West Virginia Association of Counties was established in 1960 to bring about the rebirth of effective county government.
