CPM Membership Form
To join the DC Society of Certified Pubic Managers and, simultaneously, the American Academy of Certified Public Managers, candidates must complete the form provided on this page and submit it along with the appropriate payment.
The Society has three classes of membership. An individual may join the Society by meeting the qualification criteria of any one of the three classes and submitting a completed application with the required specified.
Regular Membership: Any person having a valid certification as a public manager, issued by any program accredited by the National Certified Public Manager Consortium shall have all privileges of active membership. The annual membership fee for a regular member is $50.00.
Associate Membership: Any person currently enrolled in any accredited Public Manager program, including the Center for Excellence in Municipal Management, shall have all the privileges of active membership, except holding executive office. The annual membership fee for a regular member is $35.00.
Affiliate Membership: Any faculty member or administrator in Public Management or related fields, shall have all the privileges of active membership, except holding executive office. The annual membership fee for a regular member is $35.00.

Computer Fillable Forms: Both the membership form and the credit card payment form are also available in an electronic format that can be filled out on screen and then printed for mailing. These formats are a very convenient way to complete the forms on your computer, although the completed forms must still be printed and mail. If you would like to use these automated versions of the forms, please be aware that they are somewhat large files (approximately 600 KB) and may take some time to download if you have a slow Internet connection. With that in mind, the forms are available here: 1) electronic membership form; and 2) electronic credit card form. When you click on the form link, you will either be prompted to download, save, and then have to execute run the form file, or you will be able to open the file directly, depending on your web browser.

ZIP File Note: To decompress a zip-file archive requires a zip based archive program such as Winzip or PK-Zip. Most users already have one of these utilities on their computers, perhaps even without knowing about it. However, if you do not have a zip file program available, you can either obtain one from either of the previously mentioned firms (each firm provides a 30 day free trial), or download the non-archived versions of the PDF files above.
Refund Policy: As a membership organization, all payments for memberships or renewals are final and nonrefundable and may not be cancelled. In the case of credit card transactions, refunds will only be made in the unlikely event of an over-charge error by the Society. In such cases, refunds will be made to the member by check once the error is verified.
