Free Professional Magazine Subscriptions
Maintaining a current level of knowledge in one's profession is a critical success factor for any professional, perhaps even more so for public managers whose work so often cuts across normal professional boundaries. In order to help public manager's maintain their professional knowledge, the Society has already made arrangement's with Governing Magazine to provide subscriptions to qualified members, and we recently provided free print subscriptions to The Public Manager for all new members and renewing members who updated their memberships. Currently, anyone joining or renewing their Society membership receives a free electronic subscription to The Public Manager. In addition, we are pleased to announce our affiliation*with TradePub and to make links available to TradePub's extensive collection of over 300 professional magazines and other materials available free to qualified subscription applicants.
