American Society for Public Administration CPM Discount
Members of the DC Society of Certified Public Managers are also eligible to receive a 25 percent discount on membership fees for the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA). This discount applies to the basic ASPA membership fee, reducing it to $75.00 for CPMs. The ASPA membership includes subscriptions to the monthly PA Times newspaper and the organizations bi-monthly journal, the Public Administration Review.
The American Society for Public Administration is one of the premier national public administration organizations, serving public managers and the public administration academic community. The basic ASPA membership includes enrollment in the member's local chapter of the ASPA, and eligibility to join any of the many of special interest sections that are part of the organization. Many of the individual sections include subscriptions to well known journals in specialized areas of public administration and management. The journals available to section members include the Public Performance & Management Review, the State and Local Government Review, the Public Budgeting & Finance Journal, and the Review of Public Personnel Administration, to name a few of the more prominent publications.
